I’m a digital marketer based in Palmerston North, helping small businesses make informed digital marketing choices.
​Since 2020, I’ve set up Facebook Ads to increase brand awareness and reach more customers. I use a clear approach so your business can stand out online and attract the right clients.
I grew up Dannevirke and moved to Palmerston North to study a Bachelor of Business at Massey University (Manawatu) with a double major in Marketing and Management, graduating in 2019.
​I got my start in the digital marketing world working for a local digital marketing agency working closely with a range of clients, both local, nationwide and around the globe.
Having tested the waters with freelancing at the start of 2020, I quickly picked up a few clients as the pandemic spiked demand for having a strong, flexible digital presence. Since then I've had time to up-skill, work on my systems and business skills to a point where I've now established myself as a fully independent, self-employed digital marketing contractor.
I've found a preference for working directly with small local service-based businesses, where I can provide a greater level of flexibility, guidance and collaboration.
I've chosen to be a 'self-titled' business to not hide behind a brand, when you work with me, you work with me as I don't outsource any work and you always know who you'll be talking to.
​What frustrates me the most is how many business owners are wasting their money by boosting their Facebook posts without any strategy or neglecting their targeting options. And how many businesses owners are paying $1,000s each month for digital marketing services without understanding what it is they're actually paying for 💸
Transparency is a key value of mine and all of my paid services include reporting so you have key metrics to monitor.
My service scope is fairly limited compared to agencies and some other freelance marketers. My focus is on helping business owners get the basics right and get started with digital advertising, with reporting in place, at an accessible price point.
I predominantly work remotely and my services are designed for busy business owners who are time-poor and want to outsource their marketing but provide enough feedback and collaboration to ensure their business is reflected well.
One of the key benefits of my Facebook Ads services are knowing you have something promoting your business every day of the month. Consistency is key.
While marketing and sales often have a bad rep for overselling, being manipulative or 'pushy', I'm the opposite and take an education first approach. I provide business owners with a range of recommendations and help them make an educated decision, including when there are other people out there that can help them better than I can.

Some things I get asked a lot ...
Do you do websites?
No!
I've designed this one (using Rocketspark) and that's about it. There are many great web designers out there and it helps a lot if you have a great relationship with them as your website is usually the most critical piece of your online presence.
My services work best when a business already has their website sorted and I often recommend businesses invest in their website before thinking about ads however Facebook Ads do work to promote businesses without a website.
What are your rates?
We'll have this discussion in person as 'it depends' (you may hear this a lot), I offer monthly or quarterly ads management packages and am on the lower end of the pricing scale, I'm not aiming to be the cheapest but definitely market myself as an affordable alternative to working with an agency.
